Background and Experience

Apostle Bismark Barima Bampoh is the North America Divisional Overseer and senior pastor of the Silver Spring branch, Maryland, USA. He is ably supported by his darling wife, the President of the North American Division’s Women’s ministry, Dr. Victoria Naa Kwale Bampoh. They both joined Perez Chapel International (formally, Word Miracle Church International) in 1995. Together, they pioneered, sacrificed and grew the Perez Chapel Headquarters Youth Ministry (Timothy Generation) and other branches with the help of the Church leadership and grace from God. 

Through hard work, commitment, loyalty and dedication, Apostle B. B. Bampoh rose through the church ranks. Barely two years after joining the church, Apostle B. B. Bampoh demonstrated mature Christian experience, sound views of bible doctrine and proven gospel music and youth organizational activity skills. This led to his first appointment as Exhorter and Part-time Minister on February 21, 1997.Apostle Bampoh was subsequently ordained as a Reverend Minister on December 19, 1998. He was further promoted and inducted into office as National Youth Pastor on April 25, 2004 by the Presiding Bishop, Charles Agyinasare. 

God blessed the Youth Ministry while Apostle Bampoh was leader for nearly fifteen years. He led the youth by example in practical Christian conduct and character. He trained the youth through all-night prayer meetings, bible study, fasting,  retreats, market, street, car park as well as high school and college outreach programs. He also trained them in sermon presentation, motivational speech skills, hands-on leadership skills and report writing. The youth also benefited from Apostle Bampoh’s teachings on sacrifice, volunteerism, dedication, commitment, spiritual authority and loyalty. He also initiated departmental training programs such as Ushering, Intercessory (Prayer Warriors), Evangelism, Protocol, Contemporary Gospel Choir Music, Praise and Worship, Drama, Choreography and Media. 

The annual camp meetings he organized was one program that the youth eagerly looked forward to. The camp meetings brought youth from across the nation together. It was one event and platform that provided immense opportunity for Christian growth among the youth. The Youth Ministry grew steadily from its initial few members to a level that necessitated the running of two separate services with full capacity at the Perez Chapel Headquarters Youth Auditorium, each Sunday. 

Under the watch of Apostle B. B. Bampoh, many young leaders were raised, most of who are currently playing important and crucial leadership roles in the mother Church (PCI), other Churches and Christian ministries as well as secular institutions across Ghana and other parts of the world. 

Notable among these leaders are Bishop-Elect, Raymond Kuma Aquah (PCI-Ghana), Apostle-Elect, David Kakati (PCI-Ghana), Rev. Nobert Bosso (USA), Rev. Rosemary Koomson (USA), Mrs. Sitsofe Akrong (Zenith Bank Ghana), Mrs. Nana Serwah Prempeh Boateng and siblings (Director PG’s Company-Ghana), Mr. Charlie-Sam Mensah (PCI-Ghana), Mr. Samuel & Mrs. Petra Abba Asamoah ( ICGC-Ghana), Ms. Baaba Hartsford Nunoo (UK), Mrs. Georgina Bello (UK), Mrs. Vanita Kukua (Ghana), Offei Yirenkyi (Ghana), Mitchel Amoah (Ghana), Rev. Eastmat Yeboah (PCI-Ghana), Rev. Makafui Klutse (PCI-Ghana), Rev. Dr. Selassie Agyinasare (PCI-Ghana), Rev. Francis Kwame Agyinasare (PCI-Ghana), Dr. Ashong-Katai (Ghana) and Mr. Solomon Kakra and wife Lawyer Mrs. Lucille Manteaw, (PCI -Ghana) just to mention a few.

Rev. B. B. Bampoh was ordained an Apostle on December 19, 2010 and appointed the North America Divisional Overseer by the Presiding Bishop, Most Rev, Dr. Bishop Charles Agyinasare on March 26, 2012.

Apostle Bampoh has also worked with Ghana Telecom Company (now Vodaphone Ghana Limited) for thirty years. He was the national secretary of the Ghana Telecom Senior Staff Association. He was also the first admissions director of Ghana Technology University College, Tesano. He holds an Executive MBA degree in human resource management.
