Perez Chapel International (formerly Word Miracle Church International) was founded by Bishop Charles Agyinasare and Rev. (Mrs.) Vivian Sena Agyinasare  on 29th March 1987 in the city of Tamale, Ghana, after a city wide crusade which witnessed the demonstration of God’s power in signs and wonders.

The church began as the World Miracle Bible Church and grew rapidly from Tamale to almost 66 branches by 1992. In 1994, the church relocated its headquarters to the CFC yard at Circle, Accra, Ghana.

In Accra, God continued to demonstrate His miracle working power through the ministry of the Presiding Bishop, Charles Agyinasare. The demonstration of the power of God that characterized the four services that were held at the Accra Circle branch led to a rapid church growth. This necessitated another movement to its present location at the current headquarters at Dzorwulu, Accra Ghana. 

Perez Chapel International has, since its inception, maintained focus on preaching the unadulterated word of God, and God has confirmed His word with many miraculous signs, wonders, healings and deliverances. The church, through diverse means, has sent the gospel across several nations. Through this ministry, thousands have been saved, many leaders have been raised and several associates have been mentored in leadership roles in many ministries. 

The church has been a champion of frontier evangelism, holding mass crusades in many nations. It is also into media evangelism, reaching several millions through this means. The Church currently has 530 branches in 22 countries, including the United States.
